Scars of Honor Steam Playtest - April 30 to May 11

by Elena 11 March 2026

If you watched Venelin’s stream this Sunday, you may have seen the announcement a little earlier than we expected.

Our Creative Director decided to*...borrow...* the trailer for today’s news and couldn’t resist showing it to everyone.

Now that the secret is out, we might as well make it official.

Steam Playtest Dates

April 30 - May 11

This will be the first opportunity for players to step into Aragon and experience many of the systems we’ve been showcasing during the past months.

And yes, this is the same trailer Venelin “borrowed”.

Request Playtest Access

Playtest access requests are now open on our Steam page.

Head to the Scars of Honor Steam Page and click on the “Request Access” button.

Access will be granted in waves, so if you'd like to participate, make sure to request access early.

What You'll Be Able to Experience

The playtest will feature many of the systems we previously revealed during our gameplay showcase, giving players an early look at how Scars of Honor plays, including:

  • Combat and leveling

  • Questing and open world exploration

  • Talents and the Scar System

  • Gathering and crafting

  • Procedural dungeon

  • PvP battleground and arena

  • Built-in voice chat

This will also be a technical playtest, meaning some systems are still being tested and refined. Things may not always behave perfectly, and that’s exactly why your feedback will be so important in helping us improve the overall experience.

So explore every bit of the game, try to break everything you encounter, and most importantly, have fun while doing it.

See You in Aragon

This playtest is an important step for us. Your feedback will help us refine combat, balance progression, and continue improving the overall experience.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll share more details about what to expect during the playtest and how you can provide feedback once it begins.

Until then, make sure to request access on Steam and prepare for your journey into Aragon.
