Welcome to Beast Burst, a new gaming studio founded in 2020 in Bulgaria. We are happy to work with the entire world as we believe every experience is a great opportunity for our team to grow. Our first project is a MMORPG named Scars of Honor, a community-driven free-to-play game that should release on PC and Mobile in 2026. With 80+ employees, we believe that our team is composed of amazing talents to create a totally new IP but also a new ecosystem with our own digital platform. With hundreds of thousands of players already on board, this is just the beginning of our journey, and we are always on the lookout for new voyagers to join our adventure.
About the role
We are looking for a passionate and seasoned person to join our Marketing team as a Community Manager for Beast Burst. You will become the leader of the growing-community, by building, developing and executing the best community content & experiences. And because we are a new community, we will need you to constantly consider innovative and out of the box way to recruit and engage with members. Of course, Passion is the key, but we also need someone with an entrepreneurial mindset with professional reflex to be a great fit for this position. Not only should you be a gamer, but you should also understand the current MMORPG audience and market. You'll be the key strategic owner to further improve and grow the craft of community management and social media, providing the tools, data, strategies and frameworks needed for success.
Responsibilities
- Defining and leading the community management strategies to grow, nurture and have fun with Scars of Honor community
- Define the platforms strategies and content for community but also social media channels across Discord, Reddit, YouTube, Twitch, and all other owned channels
- Define and measure KPIs for all community activities with clear reporting structures for stakeholders
- Build and develop relationships with key community members, Nano and Core content creators, build an ambassador’s program, and potentially drive some competitive or eSport activations
- Participate in content creation management, attend local events, as well as support the company's presence during general industry events.
- Serve as the link between the community and our dev team, reporting on key topics and nuances discussed by players regarding Scars of Honor and other projects in development.
Requirements
- Must have 5 years of experience in community management, social media engagement, or a related field with a proven record.
- Must have experience working as a community manager in a gaming company before.
- Strong familiarity with MMORPG, either as an active player and community member, ideally with professional experience on a MMORPG game. PLEASE, do not apply if you don’t know this specific gaming genre, let’s not waste everybody’s time…
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging, community-centric content. Native English speaker or with very high proficiency.
- Highly organized with proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with tracking and reporting on community metrics and sentiment.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships within and outside of the organization
Nice to have:
- Second language proficiency ( German, Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese) is a plus
- A solid familiarity with the Mobile gaming ecosystem
- Bachelor’s Degree: Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Writing.
- Strong knowledge of platforms and stores such as Steam, Epic, etc.
- A pop & geek culture to discuss the last TV show or SDCC announcement and how we can twist it
